The electric meter box, as a product, has long been integrated into people's daily lives and can be said to be well-known to everyone. Although most friends know about the meter box product, few of them truly understand it. For example, "What details should be paid attention to when installing the inlet and outlet of the meter box?" I believe there are still quite a few friends who are not familiar with it. Here, we will briefly explain the installation details of the meter box and the inlet and outlet precautions:
1. The insulated copper wire for each meter wiring should not be less than 4mm2, and the RS485 circuit wire should not be less than 0.5mm2.
2. The neutral wire of each energy meter in the multi meter metering box should be installed separately and not shared.
3. Insulated and flame-retardant wires should be used inside the measuring box, and the color code should be yellow, green, and red for the phase wires; The zero line is black; The PE line is a yellow green dual color line.
4. The creepage distance of the incoming unit is greater than 12mm, the electrical interval is greater than 10mm, and the creepage distance of the outgoing unit is greater than 8mm.
5. Auxiliary terminals for the collector should be installed in the incoming switch room.
6. The measuring box also adopts wire groove wiring, with separate incoming and outgoing lines. The wiring design is reasonable and the process is qualified.
7. Each meter position should have a number, and a "property boundary point" identification should be set up on the inlet line of the meter outlet.
The installation details of the electric meter box and the precautions for incoming and outgoing lines can be said to be common knowledge, which we need to remember. Although we don't need to operate it ourselves, it's also good to understand the common sense of electric meter boxes and enrich our brains.
